Hello!
I’m a multi-faceted individual with a background in graphic design, illustration, and TV format development (coming up with ideas for game shows, quiz shows and reality shows). It may sound like an odd mix but it’s all bound together by a love of ideas and a passion for creativity, collaboration and storytelling.
In the past, I’ve worked for Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam where I was one of eight creatives selected to take part in their incubator scheme - The Kennedys. I worked mostly as a creative designer and art director and worked on projects such as rebranding Baas van Morgen, or creating an Instagram-friendly identity for the company's recruitment team.
I’ve also worked for both of the UK’s biggest broadcast companies - the BBC and ITV. I’ve worked on the development of popular existing shows (Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity...), creating new formats (Bromans, One Hundred and Eighty, Meet the Parents), and resurrecting old formats for modern audiences (Tonight at the London Palladium, Love Island). I was also part of the Development team for: Stepping Out (ITV1), Sunday Night at the Palladium (ITV1), Best Time Ever (NBC), Get Your Act Together (ITV1), Keep it in the Family (ITV1), Text Santa (ITV1), Tonight's The Night (BBC1), Knowitalls (BBC2), and Eurovision: Your Country Needs You (BBC1).
In my spare time, I create comic books and associated merchandise. I’ve exhibited at shows like TCAF in Toronto, SPX in the USA, and Thought Bubble in the UK. I’ve been invited to speak at Pictoplasma - the character design conference in Berlin.
I have years of experience in a variety of fast-paced creative fields, meeting tight deadlines, and communicating ideas from initial toplines to fully-formed pitch decks. I’m very comfortable collaborating within a small team or across an entire department, whilst always ensuring that the work delivered is of the highest level.
If you’d like to collaborate or have any questions, please get in touch. I’m more than happy to chat.
Thanks
Peter
